As we ease into 2024, I’m celebrating my 26th year working with the brightest minds in land development in Canada and globally.
Over the past two decades plus, I’ve partnered with ambitious developers keen on economic development, transit-oriented public spaces, and providing real solutions to the housing crisis.
I’ve worked hand-in-hand with Government staff and Councils dedicated to protecting our environment and supporting vulnerable members of our community.
And I’ve had the immense joy of liaising between the two—connecting and collaborating with people on “both sides of the table” to find practical solutions that move important development projects forward in a way that complies with land use policies.
What I know is this: There has never been a more challenging time to lead a development project in this country.
AND… Project leaders are in a position to make a greater impact than ever.
Right now, we’re beginning to see early impacts of interest rates, immigration policy, labour shortages, as well as policy change… and it’s just the tip of the iceberg.
✴ The uncomfortable reality is, your team will need a leader who’s more prepared than ever to stay ahead of the game this year✴
The projects that succeed in 2024 are headed up by leaders well-prepared, making the right connections, and keeping their application on top of the stack.
Now more than ever, the success of your project—and in a long-term sense, your effectiveness as a project leader in Canada—is contingent upon your ability to navigate the ever-more-complex review process.
>> You want to get your project across the line.
>> You want to show up for your team as an effective leader.
>> You want to make a real impact in your project and your industry.
But you don’t have time to memorize every land use policy or keep up with all the changes.
You don’t have decades to spend building a robust network.
You can’t spend years tip-toeing around complex stakeholders.
You need to get your project approved ASAP or it won’t happen—and to do that, you need a simple, direct way to understand what’s required from the application process.
That’s what The Approvals Accelerator is all about. Through this opportunity, you’re essentially “borrowing” my years of experience in this industry to advance your project’s approval.
And yet—you haven’t applied yet.
If you’re content to navigate the rest of your review process independently, you can ignore the rest of this post.
But if you want to learn a more collaborative, effective, and expeditious approach to getting your project across the line…
Now is the time to put your hand up.
The Approvals Accelerator applications close TOMORROW.
We kick off Monday, January 8.
Want to make sure you have a seat at the table?
Submit your application now to hold your spot.
Looking forward to celebrating with you when you get approved,
