What is the secret to your success? What is generating results on your projects?
What makes the difference for Channel’s clients is that every member of our team is values-driven and loves what we do!
Here is a list of our values, and five little secrets about how they show up for clients and bank results:
Achievement – We are the most highly skilled, diligent, and specialized in the Lower Mainland at policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, government funding partnerships, and project management.
Relationships – We collaborate to get things done. We build long term relationships with stakeholders.
Curiosity – We are constantly looking for opportunities to lift projects to the next level. We get results by thinking critically and seeing endless possibilities.
Grace – We listen and maintain a sense of humour when things get tough.
Trustworthiness – Our approach is deliberate and we monitor risks. For example, if the work needs to be done quickly, we work fast; whereas if the work is complex, we pay attention to details.
Last night our team came together to celebrate a remarkable 15 months supporting:
- Several affordable housing developments with municipalities, BC Housing and CMHC. Channel has an established team of development consultants working together with non-profit and faith-based organizations to plan and deliver projects in British Columbia
- Several complex rezonings, including: 1,200 rental apartments, 154 townhomes for families, a new office building in the downtown, and over 1 million sq ft of industrial development in the Fraser Valley.
- Infrastructure project approvals for DFO and an Agri-terminal in the Port of Vancouver.
- Initiatives to raise the field in the industry, including Channel’s online training, as well as training and mentoring programs in partnership with ULI, NAIOP and the Housing Professionals Mentorship Program.
Our team at Channel is the gold standard for constructive partnerships with government.
