We were very pleased that Channel Consulting delivered a thorough, thoughtful review of our portfolio, within the timeline agreed to. We wanted to better understand the redevelopment potential of our portfolio. How quickly Channel was able to put together the review we requested, while providing a very detailed look at each location. I would absolutely recommend anyone considering Channel Consulting to engage them in your project – you will not be disappointed. Even though we could not meet in person due to Covid, Tegan and her team provided outstanding support and information to us, helping us better plan the future of our portfolio.

Tegan made it her mission to familiarize herself with all of the fine details of our proposed development and as such was able to clearly and concisely communicate our needs and requirements with the planners and City Council. We were trying to get city council approval for a variance order moving our development approximately 12 feet closer to a highway than current zoning permitted. If you require any communications with planners and councillors then Tegan has the experience, contacts and passion to represent you extremely well.

Channel integrated into the federal project delivery style very elegantly. They were able to understand some of the complex needs and deadlines that are required in the federal world. They have excelled at working with us to facilitate creating the partnerships needed to deliver projects. The project Channel is aiding us with is a project which directly engages and requires input from 4 different levels of government. The governments all have conflicting and overlapping authorities. Channel was able to aid the project team in ensuring that the project met or exceeded all requirements for other levels of government. Where areas of conflict occur, they aided in ensuring the explanation on why we were choosing to follow a national code over a local one was understood. Channel was incredibly in-tune to the way the federal government does business. The federal project approval timelines often have challenging time requirements, which Channel was able to exceed expectations. Channel does not only do project approvals! They are a full-service project support team that can not only ensure your project is approved by local governing bodies. They can ensure the holistic success of the project so that it continues to have support for the duration. Earlier engagement would only have further increased Channel's effectiveness. They are a fantastic team that will undoubtedly provide significant value adds to the project. With the challenging federal project that they supported Fisheries and Oceans Canada on, DFO was able to focus on the technical, program and delivery components of the project. While Channel ensured that the local regulatory elements were taken care of.

Conducting your work with transparency and maintaining an open dialogue throughout has been key to the very positive experience we’ve had with Channel. Channel’s service helped us with coordinating numerous Stakeholders across several levels of Government to facilitate a land use entitlement. Channel’s growth over the past 18 months is a clear indication of its reputation and ability.
